FMP service – ready mounted and test-welded

Where a machine is ordered configured as “FMP” (the German initials for “ready mounted and test-welded”), this comprises the following services:

The system is mechanically mounted as per order: carriage, cooling unit (incl. filling up with coolant), power source, wirefeed unit (incl. mounting the correct feed rollers), intermediate drive (this will be marked with the serial number of the wirefeed unit), hosepack(s), torch (complete with wire-guide inner liner, contact tube and gas nozzle – N.B. PushPull torches are adjusted and assigned to the corresponding wirefeed units, Robacta torches are assembled and all necessary settings made). All the options ordered (installation kits, conversion kits, interfaces, accessories) are installed, adjusted and tested. Following this, a test weld is performed and an “FMP” report is attached. The system is then packed ready for shipment, and is delivered.

Important: The resistance and inductance alignment depends crucially upon how your digital MIG welding system is set up and arranged at the installation location. Please carry out this alignment – as described in the Operating Instructions – after the machine has been put into service.
