Chattanooga AWS Section meeting hosted by Fronius

The monthly section meetings, held 9 times per year, are a great way to network, tour plant facilities and often times hear from guest speakers in the various areas of welding technology.
Fronius had the honor of hosting the March meeting at our Chattanooga, Tennessee Sales and Service Center. Attendees and their guests were able to learn about the history of Fronius; from the creation of the company in Austria to the opening and expansion of the US market. Our most innovative products and technologies including CMT and DeltaSpot were discussed, educating the audience as to why Fronius is the technology leader.
Afterwards, live welding demonstrations were provided for both manual and robotic applications. Fronius Engineers, Matt Brooks and Vadim Nakonechnyy highlighted the CMT robotic process on stainless steel, manual welds with mild steel using TransSteel as well as aluminum with DeltaSpot. Fronius Xplorer functions and abilities were shown in conjunction with DeltaSpot and CMT.
The next section meeting will be held April 17th at Holston Gases.
